Services

Four engagements.
One clean outcome.

Every engagement is fixed scope and fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start. We execute the work with you, end to end.

Route map

Four outcomes from one honest read.

Your starting position determines the work. We map the obligations, permission value and dependencies before selecting the engagement.

Authorisation

Fixed fee after assessment 12 to 24 weeks

For firms that need MiCA or UK authorisation and cannot afford a rejection or a stalled file. Already filed? We take over live applications too: completeness responses, question rounds, and supervisor liaison through to decision.

We do not publish a misleading “from” price: jurisdiction, business model, application maturity and the condition of the file materially change the work. The one-week assessment fixes the scope and fee in writing; its £7,500 fee is credited in full if execution follows. The execution fee covers the application end to end, excluding regulator fees, required local counsel and capital requirements. If the scope changes, we re-paper it before further work starts.

What we deliver

  • Regulatory business plan and financial projections
  • Governance, safeguarding and risk framework ready to operate
  • Complete application pack, built for what supervisors actually assess
  • Submission and supervisor liaison through to decision

Licence transfer

Fixed fee from £60,000 plus success fee 10 to 20 weeks

For permissions worth more sold than surrendered, on either side of the deal.

Confidential buyer and seller introductions run through LicenceMap Exchange, our introduction desk. Where a sale starts there, the Exchange commencement fee is credited here, and there is one success fee, never two.

Selling

  • Buyer identification and process management
  • Data room and diligence control
  • Change-of-control approvals
  • Transaction support to completion

Buying

  • Diligence on the target's permission and its conditions
  • Change-of-control approval, prepared and carried
  • Day-one operating readiness

Wind-down

Fixed fee from £45,000 8 to 14 weeks

For firms that need an orderly exit with customers protected and obligations discharged. ESMA's June 2026 statement sets out what a wind-down owes customers and supervisors; improvising one is how exits become enforcement files.

The outcome: a closure the regulator signs off, not one it investigates.

What we deliver

  • Wind-down plan with capital and liquidity triggers
  • Customer asset migration and protection
  • Creditor and stakeholder management
  • Regulator liaison through to deregistration

Post-authorisation operations

Retainer from £12,000 per month 6-month minimum

Regulatory operations leadership for the first years after authorisation, when scrutiny is highest and the team is smallest. Not a rented compliance officer: the operating rhythm of a regulated firm, run for you.

What we deliver

  • Supervisory reporting calendar run end to end
  • Safeguarding operations and governance cadence
  • Incident and breach handling
  • The supervisor relationship, owned day to day

The boutique case

Why not a bigger firm, or a cheaper one?

The large advisories sell frameworks and teams; the people doing the work have rarely run a regulated firm. The volume shops sell documents at a price that looks attractive until the first question round arrives. We are operators. The people you meet do the work, the scope is fixed in writing, and the fee does not move without a re-scope you have signed.

The entry point

Not sure which fits? Start with the assessment.

One week, £7,500, credited in full against any engagement that follows. You get a clear read of your position, the realistic routes with costs and timelines, and a recommendation you can act on, whether or not you act on it with us.

If you only need the data comparison, LicenceMap's bespoke report is £950 and may be all you require.
